Oops.  Well, I am a day late, but I wanted to say HAPPY 1st ANNIVERSARY to Joanna and David!

Yesterday was actually their anniversary, but I missed it…..so sorry!  Better late than never. ;)  Hope your first year was a wonderful one!  Here’s to many more!

Friday was HOT!  REALLY HOT!  Brianna just contributed to the heat as she rocked out her Senior Portraits!  Believe or not this awesome teen is NOT a model.  Seriously!  I promise!  As a matter of fact she swore this was the first time she had taken any professional photos.  Brianna was a natural in front of the camera was a total blast to shoot.  She was up for anything and got super excited when I suggested we shoot in the lot with the tall weeds and front end loader.  Now that is my type of client!

I knew we were going to have an amazing shoot when she started off the session in these awesome heels!

First I’ll start off with my Dad…of course, since he is the first Dad I knew. My Dad is always good for a laugh and usually up for a good time.  It’s fun to watch him tease Mia with the same jokes that would send me into a giggling fit when I was her age.

Then, there is my Grandpa.  He was very special to me.  I miss him so much and even now that he has been gone for seven years this month sometimes a smell or just the right song in church will leave me with a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes.  I don’t have very many photos to share of him since most of them are still part of my mom and dad’s photo collection, but here is one that I have and love of him holding me as a baby.

Then of course, more recently some important Dad’s in my life are my husband, Saylor,

and my father-in-law, Jay.

Everyday I thank the lord that I am lucky enough to have had ALL of these wonderful Dad’s in my life!  They are all special in their own ways and they have all contributed something to making me and my daughter the very lucky girls that we are!

Things that get on my nerves #247:
The lady at my gym that brings her own paper towels from home to keep from having to touch the handholds on the elliptical or weight machine. This is even after she has used an antibacterial wet wipe to wipe down the handles. What the heck? If you are such a germ-a-phobe then just stay home! Seriously!!

It’s Wednesday and this week is almost officially HALF over and all I can say is THANK GOODNESS!  It has been a crazy one!  I have been doing VBS photography duty this week and it always fun to see the kids and capture all the moments that occur during our church’s VBS….however, it is unbelieveably tiring!  We also had company for the past two days and I have a list of TO-DO’s for clients that is growing by the day.  I’ve said it before that I have the BEST clients and I really do.  They have been so patient waiting to see their photos and album designs this week.   Tonight VBS will officially be a wrap and I will get right on those album designs!

Since Molly and Taylor have so patiently waited for their sneak peek I just had to get them posted as soon as possible…….Here are some of my favorites so far.

These two are a total blast.  Their October wedding is going to be a party to remember and I CAN’T wait!

Because this next week is going to be CRAZY busy and because I didn’t want to make this super fun, amazing couple wait ALL week to see……….
